Available in either 5 or 9 blade moulds, the blades are mounted in a special cartridge and can easily and quickle be reversed for left-handed use by removing the screw on top. Replacement blades are available to extend the life of your matbuster. Instructions for use: The mat buster cuts mats into 5 or 9 pieces lengthwise. When removing mats, always work in the direction of coat growth, never against. Once you have used the matbuster to cut the mat, follow up with a slicker brush to brush out and remove the rest of the mat. Severely matted hair should be treated with a de-matting spray. To prevent mats and tangles, the dog’s coat should be regularly bathed, treated with a conditioner and brushed daily. Warning: This is a very sharp tool, children should not be permitted to use the Matbuster.
