Professional, stainless steel tools used for removing excess hair from the ear and so reducing the risk of infections.
How to Use
Using ear forceps to groom a dog’s ears requires caution and proper technique to ensure the dog’s safety and comfort. Grab a small amount of hair at a time and pull the hair out of the ear. The hair should come out easily and typically does not hurt your dog. Be sure you are removing small amounts at a time and not large clumps. Repeat this process for the other ear.
Place a wet cotton ball in between the forceps and wipe just inside the ear to clean the skin where the fur was just plucked.
Warning
If you encounter any resistance, your dog shows signs of discomfort or pain, or if the ear canal appears red or inflamed, it’s essential to stop immediately and seek veterinary assistance. Do not force or continue if there are any concerns about your dog’s well-being.
